Artist's Note: "Morning Light" is a view of one of my favorite ponds, full of lily pads in summer. I love the almost lavender-blue of the water shimmering in the light of early day. I pass by, but never quickly, on my way to the Gateway trail for a hike. I’ve taken so many photos from this point, and no two are the same, because of how the the light hits differently— always mesmerizing!
